How to Customize These Templates

1. Replace Placeholders

Swap [Company Name], [product], [tech stack], salary ranges, etc. with your actual details.

Don't leave "[Company Name]" in your job post. Be specific!

2. Adjust Requirements to Reality

Don't copy the "5 years experience" if you'd hire someone with 3. Be honest about what you actually need.

Shorter requirement lists = more applicants. Only list must-haves.

3. Make the Hook Specific

Generic hooks are boring. Tell candidates exactly what they'll work on and why it matters.

Bad: "We're looking for a talented engineer."
Good: "You'll build the API that processes 10M+ daily transactions for Fortune 500 companies."

4. Always Include Salary

Salary transparency is the law in many states—and it dramatically increases application rates everywhere.

If you can't share exact numbers, give a range. Something is better than nothing.

5. Show, Don't Tell

Instead of saying "fast-paced environment," say "we ship features weekly." Instead of "collaborative culture," say "daily standups and pair programming."

Specificity builds trust. Vague language sounds like every other job post.
